No generic service lists… just a look at the different ways we plug into teams.
We don't do rigid, one-size-fits-all consulting packages.
We embed ourselves in your business, roll up our sleeves and help wherever the friction is.

Fractional COO, Operational Audit & Playbook
Untangling the processes for a digital marketing agency.
Finable Digital Marketing had their workflow down to a science, but too much of it lived in the founder's head. We joined the team for six months to extract that knowledge, document it and build them an intranet so the business could grow without relying on a single person.
How we showed up: A deep dive investigator and legacy planning partner
The Timeframe: 6 months, half-time. Hourly as needed following contract
How We Got Involved
Finable Digital Marketing was running smoothly, but they hit a classic growth bottleneck: the founder was carrying almost all of the institutional knowledge. To scale the agency and allow the founder to focus her energy elsewhere, they needed to do some serious legacy planning. They didn't need a consultant to drop in, hand over a generic workflow template and leave. They needed someone to sit with the team, learn their actual processes inside and out, and document them in a way that felt natural to how they already worked.
What We Actually Did (The Day-to-Day)
We became a half-time fractional member of their team for six months. We interviewed staff to find out what was actually happening (not just what was written in old manuals). We mapped out their entire delivery process, suggested real-time improvements and then built a living "company playbook" using a tool they already owned: a Google Sites intranet connected to Asana templates.
How It Left Them (The Legacy)
They now have a central, searchable hub that onboarded new hires seamlessly and kept everyone on the same page. Best of all, our relationship didn't end when the project did. We still jump on occasional strategy and operations calls to help them navigate new growth hurdles as they pop up.

Brand Strategy and Organizational Alignment
Putting a hidden, hard-to-reach region on the map (and getting the organization aligned to support it).
Arrow Slocan is stunning, remote, and incredibly hard to access. We teamed up to help their tourism organization get their internal operations in order while building and launching a beautiful new brand that made people actually want to make the trek.
How we showed up: Board strategy & annual planning + brand development & partner alignment
The Timeframe: Multi-phase strategic engagement over the course of 12-months
How We Got Involved
Arrow Slocan had a classic tourism challenge: they are highly off-the-beaten-path, hard to get to and most people had never heard of them. To promote a place like this, the organization first needed to get its own house in order. They needed a clear plan for how to spend their budget, and they needed a brand that didn't just look pretty, but actually captured the quiet, rugged magic of the region.
What We Actually Did (The Day-to-Day)
We jumped in together to tackle this from both ends, focusing on the organizational plumbing while simultaneously bringing the new brand to life. On the business side, we worked closely with the board and internal teams on annual planning, helping them get their systems together, align their priorities and figure out exactly how to allocate and spend their budget effectively. On the creative and community side, we helped build, position and launch a stunning new brand, working closely with local partners, businesses, and internal teams to make sure everyone felt ownership of this new identity, while finding a unique way to position a remote, hard-to-access region to travellers.
How It Left Them (The Legacy)
Arrow Slocan launched a stunning, highly authentic new brand that truly represents the soul of the region. But just as importantly, they now have a focused board, a clear operational plan and an aligned budget. They aren't just telling a great story to the world, they have the internal structure to actually support it.

Fractional Project Management
Stepping in to keep the wheels turning at a busy marketing agency.
When key people go on vacation, work shouldn’t grind to a halt. We stepped in as an embedded PM to keep client relationships and daily deliverables moving smoothly.
How we showed up: An extra set of hands (and a brain)
The Timeframe: Ongoing / 2 to 5 hours a day
How We Got Involved
Evan’s Hunt, a large hybrid marketing agency, needed project management support for niche clients, vacations and busy periods. Instead of hiring full time or a box checking contractor, they needed someone who could instantly blend into their culture, build trust with clients and understand internal team dynamics without a massive onboarding process.
What We Actually Did (The Day-to-Day)
We didn't just sit back and wait for tasks. We embedded ourselves (remotely) into their Slack channels and daily meetings and overall workflow for anywhere from 2 to 5 hours a day. We took on client communication, managed day-to-day creative pipelines and mediated internal project handoffs. Essentially, we acted as a temporary, fully-integrated teammate who cared as much about the work as the full-timers did.
How It Left Them (The Legacy)
The team got to take actual, uninterrupted vacations without worrying about their inbox. Clients didn't experience a dip in service quality, and the agency realized they had a reliable, flexible partner they could dial up or down whenever the workload got intense.

Destination Marketing & Strategic Planning
Developing strategic marketing plans to support teams trying to secure annual funding for destinations.
We partnered with a number of destination marketing organizations to build comprehensive, data-backed strategic marketing plans, giving their internal teams the information they needed to unlock their budgets and funding for the year.
How we showed up: As strategic partners
The Timeframe: 1-2 months annually
How We Got Involved
Destination marketing organizations are constantly balancing the need to promote their regions with the administrative reality of securing the funds to do it. When annual planning season rolled around, these organizations didn't just need a high-level creative concept, they needed a rock-solid, structured strategic marketing plan that aligned perfectly with grant and government funding requirements so their internal teams could successfully apply for the upcoming year's budget.
What We Actually Did (The Day-to-Day)
We stepped in alongside their internal teams to handle the heavy lifting of the annual planning process. We dug into the data, mapped out the strategic marketing roadmap for the region, and co-wrote plans that were both highly actionable for the marketing team and perfectly tailored to meet the strict criteria of funding bodies. We acted as the strategy engine that turned big ideas into the formal documentation required to keep the organization funded.
How It Left Them (The Legacy)
Instead of entering funding season stressed and underprepared, the internal teams had a polished, compliant and strategic roadmap ready to go. The plans didn't just sit on a shelf, they successfully unlocked the financial resources the organizations needed to run their campaigns.

Fractional CMO, Tourism Resiliency Expert
Helping 100+ small businesses pivot their marketing during COVID
When the pandemic hit, Tourism Vancouver Island launched a tourism resiliency program. They gave us the title of "Marketing Expert," a blank slate, and told us to go help.
How we showed up: Admittedly, it was a bit of a ‘figure-it-out-as-we-go’ kind of mission. The strategy and network of the program existed, but the marketing role was a blank slate.
The Timeframe: On-demand during the pandemic
How We Got Involved
During the height of COVID-19, Tourism Vancouver Island built a resiliency program to help local small businesses pivot and survive. The program included a range of experts from various sectors and we were hired to provide marketing expertise to these businesses. There was no playbook, no onboarding system and very little structure. Just a massive list of stressed business owners who needed support.
What We Actually Did (The Day-to-Day)
We built our own plane while flying it. We created a repeatable system from scratch to handle intake, schedule calls, track progress and follow up with participants. We spent hundreds of hours on Zoom, listening to the unique struggles of over 100 small businesses across Vancouver Island and the Thompson Okanagan region, ranging from lodges to artists to wineries to boutique retail shops and giving them practical, immediate marketing survival strategies.
How It Left Them (The Legacy)
We helped to turn a chaotic, fast-moving crisis response initiative into an organized, highly impactful program. More importantly, we gave over a hundred local business owners a compassionate ear, an organized action plan and some practical marketing tools they could use to navigate one of the hardest economic moments of their lives.

Project Management System Design & Team Onboarding
Building and rolling out a customized project management system.
We took the heavy lifting out of Project Management software migration for a WS, full-service agency, diving deep into every department's workflow to build a system that kept everyone connected.
How we showed up: As the system architect, workflow translator and internal trainer
The Timeframe: 4 months deep-dive implementation followed by ongoing governance
How We Got Involved
Software doesn't solve process problems, people do. When a full-service agency decided to migrate their entire workflow over to Wrike, they needed more than just someone to push buttons. They needed a leader who could deeply understand how every single department operated, translate those messy real-world workflows into a digital system and get the entire company bought into using it.
What We Actually Did (The Day-to-Day)
We lived in the weeds with every single team across the agency to map out their unique processes from scratch. Once we understood the nuances of how the creatives, account managers, content team, developers and strategists actually worked, we built out the custom infrastructure inside the PM software. We wrote the standard operating procedures (SOPs), ran the agency-wide training and rollout and handled the ongoing maintenance and system monitoring to make sure the data stayed organized.
How It Left Them (The Legacy)
The agency successfully moved away from email threads and fragmented tracking into a single, unified source of truth where projects actually stayed on schedule. We now use those exact same blueprinting and training skills to build out lighter, faster and highly effective workspaces in Asana and Monday.com for smaller agencies who just need to get organized.
